Niche Marketing Strategy – 4 Step Strategy for top results
If you have been looking at Internet marketing for any length of time then it is probable that you have heard the following pharse ( or one like it) to sum up how you should shape your Niche Marketing Strategy;
“Find out what people want and give it to them”
Now if you have heard this before then it is also probable that you have put it to the back of your mind and moved on to more interesting trick and tips that you think will help you make money online.
That would be a mistake.
Sure, this quote is very simple, and sounds a bit too much like a cliche. But it is also deadly true. It is so much easier to sell something to someone if it is something they want. Much harder for you to convince them to buy something that wasn’t quite what they wanted. If you are a great salesperson then you will be able to do that. However that is the beauty of internet marketing, you don’t have to make it difficult on yourself. Just find out what people want and give it to them.
You see, as an internet marketer you can pick just about any product in the wild to promote. So make it easy on yourself, do your research, and select something that people want.
By way of example, Brian Johnson talks in the video about an example of this approach in his early marketing days. He put aside what all the ‘clever people’ were telling him about what they thought people wanted, and just looked at the search volumes to make his decision.
The message is clear, if you want a winning Niche Marketing Strategy follow the following four steps;
- Do your research
- Identify what people want
- Give it to them
- Keep it clean and simple – No complex flashing banners and related deals.
